Description The matinee will commence at 1:30 with the musical extravaganza called "Jenny Lind". "Lo Scapato" by L. G. Gottschalk, the popular American baritone of the Strakosch Opera Co. After which, the renowned queen of tragedy, M'me Janauschek will appear in her great impersonation of Lady Macbeth  in the famous sleepwalking scene from Shakespeare's "Macbeth". The unrivaled prima donna assoluta, M'lle Emie Roseau will sing "La Primavera (Springtime)", followed by the popular vocalist, Miss Jenny Hughes. Cornet solo by Mr. Arthur Bent. Ballad by permission of Mr. Neil Bryant, "The Sweet Bye-and-Bye" by G. W. Harley. With invisible chorus by Messrs. Rapier, Clinton, Pelham and Caldwell. After which the celebrated tragedienne, Mrs. Emma Waller, will recite Hood's "Bridge of Sighs". The pianist Sig. G. Morosini will perform "Fantasie Hongroise" by Listz. Succeeded by a grand aria, "Prophete" by Meyerbeer, by Mlle. Frede De Gabele. Recitation, "Little Gretchen" by Miss Hattie Anderson. The famous balcony scene from "Romeo and Juliet" with Mr. Eben Plympton as Romeo and Miss Nina Varian as Juliet. After which, the comedietta "A Happy Pair" by permission of Lester Wallack. The performance with conclude with a budget of comicalities by Mr. Sam Devere, by permission of Mr. Tony Pastor. The evening performance commencing at 8. Grand overture by the orchestra, after which a recitation by Miss Jean Burnside. Mr. Gus Williams will sing, talk and explain the mysteries of learning English without a master. The prima donna contralto, Signorina Eliza Galimberti will sing Italian, Spanish, French and English songs. Mr. Geo. Vandenhoff will recite "Queen Mab" from "Romeo and Juliet" and "The Seven Ages" from "As You Like It". The smallest people in the world, Meade's midgets, General Mite and Minnie Obom will appear by permission of Mr. J. H. Meade. To be followed by "Ma Voce Poco Fa" from Rossini's "Il Barbiere" by M'lle Eme Roseau. English ballads by the tenor, Mr. Knight Aston. A duet from "Il Trovatore" by Signor Brignoli and Signorina Eliza Galimberti. "L'Africaine" by Signor G. Morosini. Drinking song from "Lucretia Borgia" by Miss Gertrude Emanuel. Charles Diamond in a song and dance and harp solo. Charles Backus in his wonderful imitations of distinguished actors. Ballad, "Once Again" by Miss Agnes Deleno. Song by permission of Lester Wallack, by Mr. Edward Arnott. After which the third act of Shakespeare's "Othello". Miss Rose Eytinge will recite the poem of "Fontenoy" to be followed by the forum scene from "Julius Caesar". After which the fourth act of "Big Bonanza". To conclude with Bryant and West in their original musical act, "The Scientific Coons". Matinee prices, 50 cents and $1.00. Evening prices, 50 cents, $1.00 and $1.50. Family circle, 25 cents.
