Description Tankard with straight sides tapered from applied molded baseband to applied molded flared lip, stepped flat cover with crenate lip, corkscrew thumbpiece and molded hingeplate with meander wire on both sides and engraved decoration, shaped drop and long, beaded rattail below drop, scroll handle with oval disk terminal ornamented with molding (bent). Inscription: Engraved at front with block initials: "S/A*G" on base; Later script initials "JS(L?)A" on side of body opposite handle. Mark: Marked on top of cover and at lip to left of handle : "BS" over device in heart.
