Description Pitcher with rectangular body with rounded corners, cast border of scrolls, flowers, and shells at lip, repoussé swags of flowers at neck, repoussé flowers and leaves forming reserves at corners, four cast shell feet, and C-scroll handle. Inscription: Acid-etched on side: To / Hon. David A. Boody / with the sincere regard of his / COMISSIONERS / of the various Departments of / City Government / during his Administration as / MAYOR / of the city of Brooklyn / Jan 31. / 1894. Above medallion with seal of Brooklyn over legend: CITY OF BROOKLYN. One side of body etched with view of Mount Prospect Water Tower, Institute Park, at Junction of Eastern Parkway and Flatbush Avenue. Other side with park view (worn.)
