Mug of seamed construction with applied wire at lip and die-rolled modified egg-and-dart band at base, strap handle shaped from die-rolled band comprising agricultural motifs including sheaves of wheat, rakes, and plows. Inscription: Engraved in feathered script with unidentified presentation initials: "ML/to/JAR". Mark: Struck on underside of base in script: "W. Thomson" in conforming enclosure.
