Description A scene from "Pousse Cafe," a Weber & Fields burlesque presented in 1898 at the Weber & Fields' Braodway Music Hall, with book by Edgar Smith and Louis de Lange and music by John Stromberg, featuring Charles J. Ross, Sam Bernard, Joe Weber, Lou Fields, Peter F. Dailey, John T. Kelly, and Mabel Fenton. "Pousse Cafe" is probably a burlesque of the popular legitimate comedy "Lord Chumley" (1888) featuring E.H. Sothern in the title role.
