Description The engagement of the Troupe will be for a limited period, as they appear in Paris at the Great Exposition. Program - part first - presentation of the entire troupe. Classic posturing and grouping by the infant prodigies, Thoyokichi and Thomatzu. Bamboo pole balancing by Hamaikari Sadakichi and his talented son, "All Right". Top spinning, a most beautiful exhibition of skill, by Matzui Kikoojiru and his daughter, Otsunee. Legerdemain, concluding with the great butterfly trick, by Zumidangawa Matzungoro. Slack rope dancing, without the aid of balance pole, by Zumidangawa Matzungoro. Revolving pyramid of Japanese tubs, with wonderful gymnastic evolutions by Hamaikari Sadakichi, chief of the troupe and honored by Imperial decree, and the youthful prodigy, Hamaikari Mikishi, known as “All Right”. Intermission – the “Annie Polka” by the orchestra, under the direction of Anthony Reiff, Jr., the celebrated composer and director. Part second – astonishing gymnastic feats upon suspended bamboo pole by Matzungoro. The “Magic Ladder” by Hamaikari Sadakichi and “All Right”. Extraordinary feat of balancing a Japanese screen by Hamaikari Deukichi. Feats of legerdemain by the female artiste, Zumidangawa Komong. Top spinning by Matzui Kikoojiru. The performance concluding with the most wonderful and thrilling exhibition of human skill and endurance ever witnessed, entitled the “Enchanted Ladder”, ending with the terrific flight of “All Right” with lightning rapidity, from the dome of the Academy to the parquet. (Turn over.) Spring and summer mantillas, cloaks, sacques and lama lace shawls and rotondes at the new store of William Buchanan Mackenzie, 2 Clinton Place at the corner of 8th Street, just out of Broadway. The very latest novelties as designed by the most distinguished modistes expressly for the annual fete of “Longchamps”. The inspection of ladies most kindly invited. Established over 20 years.
