To the public: Mr. Wallack, anxious to explain fully to the patrons of the National Theatre, the cause of Mr. Kean's next appearance being again deferred, thinks it advisable to publish the following note just received from Dr. A. E. Hosack [...] To conclude with the successful farce of "A Good Looking Fellow". Wednesday, the comedy of "The Love Chase" will be repeated. After which, first time in America, the new farce of "Latin, Love and War". Thursday, will be produced for the first time a drama called "Jacques Strop", being the sequel to "Robert Macaire". Due notice will be given of the next appearance of Mr. Charles Kean. The public are respectfully informed that Mr. Wilson, Mr. Seguin, Mrs. Shirreff, Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. Henry Wallack (late Miss Turpin) are engaged in the operatic department of this theater. Mr. Vandenhoff and Miss Vandenhoff will arrive in the steam packet British Queen. Due notice will be given of their first appearance.
