Description Knife from carving set in leather case comprising a knife and two forks decorated with palmetto motif and gadrooned with twisted ivory handles. One of the handles is mended with silver band riveted in place and the handle cap has been replaced.  Mark: On blade of knife: "V"/[crown device]/"P"/"JOSEPH ROGERS & SONS/CUTLERS to HER MA[JESTY]"; On handle of knife: "JR" in rectangle/[sheffield assay mark]/[lion passant]/[sovereign's head].
