Description
One of a pair of mugs with straight tapering side and slightly everted lip, on circular footring with double-scroll handle, baluster-shape drop at upper handle juncture with body, plain grip, and oval disk at lower juncture with body. Inscription: Engraved in block letters on base: "V/F*C" for Frederick Van Cortlandt. Mark: "AB" in oval struck on body to right of handle under lip.
