Description Broadway Theatre will be opened with a carefully selected company on Monday evening, September 27. This theater has been built in the most substantial and costly style, without regard to outlay, and will, it is hoped, meet the wishes and expectations of the public. It is located on the east side of Broadway, between Pearl and Anthony Streets, at a point easily reached from every other part of the city. Previous to the comedy, a grand overture by the orchestra. Pas seul by Miss Celeste. To which will be added the petit comedy, “Used Up”. On Tuesday evening will be produced Lovell’s celebrated play, “Love’s Sacrifice”, in which Miss Fanny Wallack and Mr. G. Vandenhoff will appear. Prices of admission: dress circle and parquette, $1.00. Family circle (second tier), 50 cents. Upper boxes, 50 cents. Gallery, 25 cents. Colored gallery, 25 cents. Private boxes for eight persons, $10.00. Entrances to the theater: to the dress circle, parquette and family circle, the principal entrance on Broadway. To all other parts of the house, the entrance is through the first door in Anthony Street.
